First Magdalene Formal of 2007

I had my first Magdalene formal of 2007 this evening with two lovely young ladies. All I can say is that the formal was quite good. The food was pretty decent. Ever since they've replaced our head chef, the food quality seems to have improved. And of course, I had excellent company for the evening.

We had a nice hot quiche starter. Then, the main course seemed quite simply a piece of roast chicken, which turned out to taste quite good. It wasn't simply roasted. It seemed to have some extra taste in it somewhere. So, it was quite okay. Followed by a chocolate cake and chocolate cream dessert... So, the food was okay...

Company was excellent... We did not really have any problems communicating even though my two guests didn't really know each other very well.. However, they're both friendly... So, no problems there... At the end of the evening, ChienFen even gave me a little gift of After8 mints... That made my day... (i'm easily pleased)... hehe...

After dinner, we went to the MCR to chat for a while... But after about half an hour, more and more people came into the MCR and we could hardly hear ourselves talk... This is unusual as the MCR is typically empty at that time of the night... However, there was some form of hockey formal tonite and some of the MCR members came to the MCR after formal...

Then, we had a quick tour of the college and we went home... I think that this is a good start for Magdalene formals this year... I've invited another two people for the one next week... I'll see how it goes...
