Swearing off women!!
women are trouble... trouble, i tell you!!
i wonder how my parents would react if i told them that i plan to remain single.. i think, they will first be in shock.. and then, they will go into emergency response mode, and try to set me up with random ladies... seriously... hehe...
now, i wonder again, how they would react if i told them that i plan to renounce this worldly life and go into priesthood... i think that would probably push them over the edge.. hehe.. not that i think i'd do it... at least not seriously yet...
but seriously... the question remains... why do we even bother?? i don't know.. should i stay away from women?? i don't know... what i do know is that i'll be staying away for a while... i just cannot handle a relationship at this point in time... seriously...
and when i do become able to handle a relationship.. the question then would be.. do i actually want to have one?? i really don't know... is it even worth it?? all the heart ache and pain... why do we keep coming back for more?? i don't know..
it's not like i do not like women... i'm straight... i do find some of them attractive... however, i often ask myself, what's the benefit/cost ratio.. if it's << 1, then, is it worth it?? if it's >> 1, is it worth it?? if it's 1, is it worth it??
maybe, the biological clock hasn't kicked in.. maybe paternal instincts have not kicked in... maybe maybe... all this may just be ramblings... better go to bed now..

dude.. monks eat meat.. there's nothing wrong with eating meat..
is it? i thought monks were vegetarian? ok then, you can be a monk. but i personally think "hermit engineer" suits you better :P

u can't calculate a cost/benefit ratio for relationship or lovelah, if u start calculating, sure not worth it lah, unless u find someone who puts u on a pedestal and serves u on hand and foot, but what's the fun in that?

but yeah, i'm pretty sure shawn will get over this stage someday. hahaha..
but yeah. women are great. i prefer having a woman in my bed than a guy. hahaha
