REALLY asking for it..
i've just tendered my resignation... i no longer wish to be associated with the current committee... i'm not saying that all the committee members are idiots.. actually some of them are quite good people... but a few are just first class idiots...

"I've discussed this with XXXX, and I still believe there is no need to clarify. People are generally happy with the formal tonight - to send out an apologetic CUMaSkini will only serve to draw attention to the mistake, and oh yes, this will definitely be brought up during the AGM. Why? Because we reminded them about it.
I'm not saying it's the best ethical decision not to clarify things, I'm just saying it's the most practical - I would rather discuss constructive issues during the AGM Q&A rather than discussing why the menu on the day of the formal was different. Of course, in the unlikely event that somebody brings it up during the AGM (which as I say is unlikely as people were generally happy about the formal), I will give a short answer explaining ourposition and that will be it."
* this really did it for me.. knowingly doing things that are not "best ethical"... WTH???!!!! and to think that he's a medic!! omg!! *

"It's almost time for our AGM. I've attached the election procedures in the document. Any feedback is welcomed. In particular, I think we should do away with proxy voting this year due to the fiasco it caused last year. Any opinions on that? If there are no problems, we'll send this announcement out shortly."

"Ok guys, I've reinstated the proxy votes (up to 2 people per attending member) seeing there are quite a few people who want it back in. "
* i dun even understand how the proxy votes got "reinstated" since it couldn't even be "removed" even if he'd like it to be.. *
constitution:
"Only members present at the AGM/EGM shall be entitled to vote. The Executive Committee during the course of the meeting, has the discretion to issue proxy
voting forms."
* yeah, that's right... the excomm gets to decide.. not a single person.. *

"There seems to be some confusion on some constitutional aspects, and well, the constitution is quite clear about this. Only decisions made during an Executive Committee meeting (all of which are chaired by the President) have the right to be termed an Executive Committee decision. I appreciate you all put in a lot of thinking into it, but unfortunately it is an informal decision."
* err... which part of the constitution says that?? let's check.. *
"The president will chair all meetings of the Executive Committee and has a casting vote where there is no clear majority. In the temporary absence of the President, the Secretary shall assume all authorities, duties andresponsibilities of the President."
* hmm.. tried to search up what he mentioned in the constitution.. but couldn't find any reference to it.. maybe he misunderstood the powersbestowed upon him by the constitution... *
i won't even bother going into the misconducts that did not have email evidence..
anyway, i'm done for the nite.. if i think of anything else, i'll write it up more.. got full day of demonstrations tomorrow.. sucks to be me..
