Why the American exit strategy is all wrong.

Oh wow. I came across this political cartoon today. It is so damn funny! So very extremely funny! In one picture, the cartoonist has managed to capture the irony of the US foreign policy on the situation in the middle east. Kudos to the cartoonist! Faaaarrrrnnnneeeeee!!!

It captures the hopelessness of the troops in Iraq, who're still sacrificing their lives regularly. It shows how the president is currently trying to hold up his house on his own, with nothing but a hammer and some nails. It also illustrates the next step in the administration's plans on escalation in the middle east. This political cartoonist is really sharp!

Anyway, I just thought that I'd share this little bit of irony. Nothing much else to comment about it except a couple of points. First, that the ethnic and diverse personalities in the arms forces is captured in the cartoon. Second, that a door with a knob on each side, allows people to move in both directions. Third, that building the door in the middle of nowhere, just seems to illustrate the whole trouble with the American venture in the middle east.
