I've found my photography niche!
After actively learning and practising photography for the past year, I believe that I've found my niche. Over the past year, I'd been doing all kinds of photography, trying them out to see which ones appealed to me. I think that I've finally found my niche and I should explore this area much further. It is extremely rewarding.
Some people like to capture architecture that is either unique or ancient in minute clarity. Many others like capturing landscapes under the natural watercolours of nature. A few highly skilled people like capturing natural life that is constantly evolving and changing. I personally, like to capture people, whom I believe are the most beautiful things in the world.
Everyone has some internal beauty in them. It's the role of the photographer to bring it out and capture it. However, I do not quite mean portraits. To me, portraits only capture part of the story. There is always something else behind a portrait. I think that I will always try my best to capture the best in people.
Another reason why I enjoy photographing people is because I get to be in the midst of them. I like people. People are extremely fascinating creatures. No two individuals are the same. I enjoy being around the company of people. I am a fairly social creature and I honestly enjoy being around nice people. So, this makes people photography even more fun!
In this sense, I have evolved. I used to enjoy being surrounded by machines. I guess that I've just spent enough time among machines, grown up and realised that people are the most precious things in this world. We never know when someone will leave us. Every moment with them is a unique event that will never occur again. Therefore, it's important to capture all the beautiful memories.
PS. In the future, I'm going EVERYWHERE with my camera! Don't be surprised if you end up close-up-and-personal with my lens!
