MP3 Playa (p. quatre)

After looking at the iPod shuffle... I started reconsidering the use of an LCD screen.. hey, if Apple is doing away with LCD displays for their smaller iPods, why do I need one.. It's been a problem trying to source it as well.. Also, it'll be difficult to mount it unless I use a PCB.. So, I might just do away with the LCD screen as well..

As an alternative, I might use some LEDs instead.. hehe.. a novel user interface.. using LEDs to indicate the status of a song being played.. But then again, it might not be necessary... I could use an LED to blink in a certain way (via PWM) to indicate the state of the player..

So, I will select the songs by actually listening to them.. it will require some rethinking on the UI part.. since I will not have a visual selector... I might need to autoplay 10s of the song or something like that when a song is selected...

Just some thoughts..
